Parent Service Opportunities - Upper School

PARENT SERVICE AT MCA

MCA provides opportunities and requires its parents to serve a certain number of hours at either the Grammar or Upper School for each family. This benefits the families in several ways. The work parents perform for the school helps keep tuition costs low and fosters community within the larger school family. Working together gives parents opportunities to meet other parents, tutors, and students. In addition to these benefits, parents who complete service hours with excellence model how to be a servant-leader. There are few things parents can do to effectively communicate more simply and clearly the eternal importance of educating young men and women for Christ than volunteering their time and talents in this endeavor.

PARENT SERVICE HOUR AGREEMENT & FEES

We are able to provide a high-quality education with a lower tuition rate because of the minimum requirement of service hours parents agree to perform.  If parents decline or are not able to fulfill their service hours for any given reason for the year, they will be required to pay $20.00 per school service hour to defray the cost of their absence.
