Upper School Books

AS OF THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR, PARENTS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PURCHASING THEIR STUDENT'S ARTS AND HUMANITIES BOOKS FROM THE VENDOR OF THEIR CHOICE.

Students must have these books before the first day of school in August.

With the purchase of these books, students are able to underline, write in, and work through their own copies. If a family has multiple students coming through MCA, they may be able to reuse books for each student depending on the version/edition.

Within the document linked below, you have been given the correct ISBN for the specific version of the books used in each class. Students will be required to purchase the specific version listed. It is imperative that students buy the version indicated since students and tutors work through the text together during class. You have also been provided with links to specific books at recommended vendors. MCA seeks to find the best prices and the most readily available stock. Parents, you can also try to seek out the best prices available at other vendors.

If students do not have the required books when school begins, they will receive a zero on their contribution grade for each class until they bring the books. Please make sure they have ALL the required books on the first day of school.

Make sure to find your student's class and purchase all books listed for that class. Many grades have multiple pages. Some grades have different versions compared to previous years and new books have also been added so please read the attach file carefully.

**Seniors, the elective list will be sent out at a later date this summer.**
