All students who plan to participate in athletics at MCA must complete the TAPPS compliance requirements through the TMS system before they are eligible to practice or compete. The process is quick and simple—just log in, complete a few acknowledgments, and update your profile information.

If you are certain your student will not participate in athletics this year, you may skip the TMS process. However, if there is any possibility they may join a sport at any point during the school year, we recommend completing the requirements now.

Important: Students must complete their portion first before a parent can complete theirs.

Before July 1

If you are completing this process before July 1, be sure to change the school year in the upper-right corner of your TMS profile to 2026–2027, as TMS does not roll over to the new year until July 1.

New Students & All Incoming 7th Graders

Student Instructions

1. Enter your school email address and select "Forgot Password" to reset your password.

2. After resetting your password, log in and click the "Take Action" button on your dashboard.

3. Open the Acknowledgement of Rules (AOR), review it, close the window, and check the box indicating acceptance.

4. Complete the entire student profile.

   • Be sure to enter the guardian and emergency contact email addresses that will be used to link parent accounts.

Parent Instructions

After your student has completed and saved their information, parents should follow the same steps:

1. Log in to TMS. You will also have to click on forgot password.

2. Click "Take Action."

3. Review and accept the Acknowledgement of Rules.

4. Complete and save your profile information.

New Students and Incoming 7th Graders:

A separate email will be sent with your student ID (code) and Outlook password.

Medical History & Physical Forms

The Medical History and Physical boxes in TMS cannot be checked by families. MCA staff will verify these items after parents have uploaded the required documents to FACTS. More info. about History & Physical requirements here.

Once you have uploaded your student's Medical History and Physical forms to FACTS, please email [email protected] so we can review and update your eligibility status.

Returning Students & Parents

Both the student and parent must complete these steps for athletic eligibility.

1. Log in to TMS.

2. Click "Take Action" on your dashboard.

3. Review and accept the Acknowledgement of Rules (AOR).

4. Update any profile information as needed.

Please remember that eligibility cannot be approved until:

• Student requirements are completed

• Parent requirements are completed

• Medical History form is uploaded

• Physical form is uploaded

Deadline for Fall Sports

Volleyball and Cross Country athletes must have all requirements completed by July 27, 2026.
