The Upper School rewards student service to both our school and our community. 

 

School Service Award = 25 hours spent in service to MCA

Community Service Award = School Service Award PLUS 25 hours in service to the community

 

Students may earn a Community Service Award ONLY if they have also earned a School Service Award. Community hours must be accompanied by a letter of explanation signed by an adult supervisor. Students must record their service hours in the Student Service Hours Binder in the Front Office. The letter/document with signed proof of community service should be inserted behind their page in the binder. If service hours are not recorded in the binder by the due date, they will not be credited to the student. Recognition of service hours will be awarded at the year-end Awards Ceremony.
